Sorry for the delay. Thanks for all the entries, which has made judging my first salon rather difficult (but very enjoyable).

3rd place - Ian's frightening Hoover Dam. I'm not usually afraid of heights, but that view is enough to give anyone vertigo.

2nd place - Gez's hovering hawk.

1st place - I thought this was an amazing shot as soon as I saw it: Pat Moore's slalom course.
