Buying Lightroom.

Hi...I haven't got Lightroom yet. Which version do I look for. I notice some versions are "Upgrades". Which one is the full programme? Thanks

When you purchase it, look for version 5. Latest update is 5.2 but this is a release candidate which means it's not 100% stable.
Look for full version at site of purchase, if you have an older version, your entitled to buy an upgrade. Upgrades are about half the price of a full version, so if you think is cheap, it's probably an upgrade although Adorama are doing a really good deal at $99 at the moment.

For years Ian has been telling me to get Lightroom. I finally got LR5 and it is brilliant.

Because I work in education, I got the discount price. Now that I have it, I consider the full price to be worth the money (Don't tell Adobe)

I have been using LR since the 1st beta and love it.Yes some of the tools are not as good as you would have in photoshop but you can still do wonders in it. Give it a go and I am sure you will not look back
