  • Lightroom Tip

I've just discovered a pretty powerful tip for saving time when adjusting multiple images. Its AutoSync, something I never knew existed.

If you select a number of images that you think will need the same adjustments then press Ctrl/Cmd the Sync button changes to AutoSync. Click the button once so it stays on that setting. Then any slider you change will apply the alteration to all the selection at the same time. If you click the AutoSync button again it reverts to its original mode

Anyone got any other Lightroom tips?

    Re: Lightroom Tip

Only two tips first if you do not own it buy it you will not regret it and the second is buy this book The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby. The book is based on lightroom 1 but you can download a few pages that will upgrade the book to 1.1. When I was at camera club the other week two of the ladies said that they had been to a meeting the night before about bird photos and the guy was using lightroom on a laptop to display the photos. He also gave them a quick run down on his work flow and they were so in pressed that they have both looked into getting copy's. The funny thing is up till that point I was the only one in the club using it.

        Hi Stephen

I think after my camera Lightroom was one of my best investments in this hobby of mine. Sorry these are not really my tips but this is a great website to look at.

Thanks for that one Peter, though I have some of the podcasts on my iTunes and have watched several of the tips on the Adobe Lightroom website, I didn't know about this site. I'll enjoy going through pages of this
