Just wondered if anyone on here is using LightZone regularly? I stumbled across it when looking for RAW converters that supported my 40D (I'm still waiting for my converter of choice, DxO, to support it).

So far I'm very impressed. It seems to have some unique processing options (and some extreme ones!). I'm not sure if it will succeed in luring me away from DxO in the long-term but it's an interesting diversion if nothing else. Check out the "Relight" option in particular.

You can get a 30 day trial if you want to have a play.

I have had a brief play with LightZone - I really like the way you can easily select a regio or regions of the image according to a density range or by using an adjustable area selection, including a visual representation of the feathering that has been applied.

It's well worth trying the trial version.

I hadn't actually got that far yet Ian, I'm just pressing buttons to see what happens at the moment! Time to RTM I think, sounds like I'm going to be even more impressed than I already am. DxO had better hurry up with their 40D module!
