    Re: Which product for now?

    Joe,
I myself have been wondering if I should upgrade from Adobe 4 to 5 or just get lightroom. I am really glad that you asked that question. I know that corel paint shop pro x is considered to be more for the ametuer, but it does have alot of features that I like. Like Steven said before It is all a matter of personal opinion. If you go to : http://http://www.adobe.com/products/
Then Click on digital imaging it will take you to that category where some of the programs you can try for 30 days. this is the USA link Adobe has differen't links for different parts of the world for those who don't know. Just go to http://adobe.com. Ok I am now getting finger cramps!! So I will leave some room for someone else!

      Hi Jennifer,
If your main interest is digital photography you should look at Lightroom. It will do all you need, and it seems very easy to use to me. I have been using the beta right from the beginning, and I shall be going into Lightroom instead of upgrading my Photoshop to CS3.

I got PSE5 fro $60 on special at Staples, plus a $20 mail-in upgrade rebate from Adobe. Net Net about $40+. I can still use ACDSee 9 for management, and directly access the PSE5 editor from it seamlessly. So that's my current direction. Thanks for all the opinions and help.
