  • A New HDR (+) Programme

If, like me, you enjoy trying out different software, to get different effects, you may be interested in trying OLONEO. It is a free beta at the moment and well worth a play.

    A Quick Example

Not only can you process using the full HDR method of several exposures, but it also easily adds HDR effects to a single exposure. Visit the site and see the software in operation - very interesting especially the lighting multi- adjustments.

Nice one Roger, a good find. I was about to download it and discovered they don't do a Mac version at present

I'm with you Stephen, I went to the site and the software looks interesting but no Mac version. I don't have Parallels Desktop and don't want to buy it to run beta software. I have VMWare on my laptop but don't fancy trying to run this package under in a VMware virtual machine on an old MacBook !

Just downloaded and installed onto my Windows partition on the iMac.
First impression after a quick play "It looks the Business"
Hope a Mac version becomes available as I don't want to do any picture editing in Windows any more, its strictly for business use.
As Stephen said a great find.

It certainly is faster than I'm used to. Changes appear in real time, instantly, and I like the Time Machine bit. A kind of visible history that is navigable.

Here is one done under the new program.
So much easier and controllable than Photomatix
I can see myself using this in Parallels until a Mac version is available, according to the web site it is promised but cannot say when.

It is a pity that it is only a beta. Getting too used to using it could result in a nasty when the final price is announced!

That thought had crossed my mind as well.

After almost 4 years of development they are going to want a return on their efforts.
