I wouldn't like to say where the lower bird's head is but I would like to hear your general comments.
These females have only appeared a few days ago but have become frequent visitors.
Hi Pops-
I like it very much...he's wearing a pretty smug expression, made me chuckle....do you know what kind of bird this is? Either I am very unobservant or we don't have something like that in my parts

I think the experession on the bird's face is great: "Oi, this one is MINE"
From a critique point of view, it is a shame (although hilarious) that the other bird appears to be, well, let's not go there shall we!? But one thing I do sense is that this is quite a tight crop as it's a little grainy and a little soft.

I put the grain down to the iso of 800. Was looking for the original to show you that the crop was quite small really. Just a couple of inches from the left and the same from the right.
Unfortunately I seem to have deleted it.

High ISO would explain it - sharpness will be sacrificed at this ISO and above. But the picture is well worth it for the content alone, so don't be too concerned about my comments on the quality

Nice one pops, lets hope the top bird did not have a curry last night.

Dana - the bird is a 'Long-tailed tit'. They're very small, very cute though.

I agree. Just getting a shot, any shot of these little fellas is great. I'm quite envious actually as we don't get them in our garden. Our neighbours get them high in their trees but they just don't come down to our feeders.
