    I've never tried LR. I've always stuck with PS and I really like CS4 so I'll probably just carry on upgrading as and when necessary.

    I must admit I'd forgotted VP existed. I'm not using any extra plugins with CS4. It does everything I want from it, though I do still use layers and masks or whatever to get what I'm after.

    I was looking at something Jules (ST) posted a few days ago and there was some interesting stuff mentioned about Nik Software. Have a look HERE - it's a link he'd posted. Scroll down and see what's said about the Nik collections. I went to the Nik Software website and went through the video movie demos. Some of them are some very interesting - Viveza looks good. They all look good! Much faster than layers and masks and there are demos as to how it works in LR and other image editing sotware as well as PS.

      And here's a link to the Nik Software website. Each filter has demo movies and they can be bought separately. I think WE has them.

      They certainly look good, also look quite easy to use and control.
