Hi
First one: a lovely shot, I would darken the bottom left corner and clone out that grey triangle very distracting. Great expression. A little too contrasty perhaps.
Shot two: this is a personal preference I never like shoulders pushed up under the chin makes the sitter look as if they have no neck, I think it particularly unsuitable for a youngster.
Third shot has a delightful expression lovely soft tones to the skin.
Shot four I feel the same as shot two.
One criticism is did she need to hold her hair up on one & three, rather an old pose for someone so young. You have cropped in tight so it simply become a confused background. Its true to say could be dumbed down so its not a problem
Great effort, shots one and three with a little tweak here and there would be truly 1st class pictures that would delight anyone. Very pretty girl she looks older than her 8 years.

Hi Gina
I love this type of shot - close up on the face.
Yes i think the young lady is doing an older type of set but that has been choosen by the photographer.
Shot 1 is a cracker.
Patrick has made the technical comments.
Well done indeed.
Have a nice weekend

Re: Portrait CC please - Lillie
Thanks for your comments and input but his young girl chose the poses, I just pressed the shutter. My niece is a stunning 8 year old and aspires to the likes of Katie Price/Jordan unfortunately so every mirror or reflective surface is looked in - all day. I guess the point of this is that her mum is very happy with these photo's and Lillie of course loves them.
I spoke to my sister about letting Lillie do modelling but she is very against it because of all that goes with it and she wants her to enjoy her childhood. It's a very thin line with Lillie and she is beyond her years.
Thanks again for your input on these photos.
