  • Autumn sign

Managed to get out for a couple of hours this morning and visited a local beauty spot near Matlock in Derbyshire.
This is one of the shots which I picked out as my favourite. Printed off a borderless A4 and it looked fine.
    Constructive comments/critique welcome as usual.

What a lovely picture Pops. I like the way my eye is led into the picture by the path between the trees. The colours are great.

I pretended it were mine and I would have cropped enough from the bottom to exlude the branch, because it keeps tripping me up and the same amount could go from the right hand side of the picture as you would not lose anything important.

Bet you think "Darned Cheek." Very nice anyway.

Just tried that. Wasn't to keen. Then I cloned out the branch that is tripping you up and took an inch off the right. That was better.

Yes, I'll bet it was. After I had written the note last night, I downloaded it, cropped it, and realised you needed about an 1" off the right hand side. Cloning would be fine as you would not lose the "Walk in the wood."

          Hi Pops,
I like this photograph, it makes you want to get out and walk in the woods yourself, 1 inch off the right and clone out the bottom branch sounds about right. Very nice, I do love woodland.

I love this picture. Autumn is my favourite season, the colours are so beautiful. I wouldn't change anything as I would be really pleased to take a photo like this. But I am new to this maybe when I have more experience/knowledge I would see the changes that were needed if any. It makes you want to go running through the leaves like I did when I was a child. Beautiful
