Re: for your consideration
Hi Kenny and welcome to DPNow.
Your picture is spectacular to say the least and you have captured the full glory of the church and a passionate moment between B&G even though I realise its set up.
I'm struggling to see the effect of the back lite though apart from to light up the sides of the pews, which frankly I'm not sure I like. It looks as though you have put some flash behind the couple, but its had no effect on the lighting on them. For me the warm tones of the church have made the dress too yellowy and I'm sure if this is a WB issue it could have been corrected, however this would have made the effect of the flash glare on the end of the pews bluey. Don't yer just hate mixed light sources in situations like this

Re: for your consideration
this gal had a hat with a short veil (ala 40's) i actually published the "backlite aisle shot" technique in the PPA magazine in the eighties. i like the warmth and separation and left it a little more yellow than usual.Originally posted by Stephen View PostHi Kenny and welcome to DPNow.
