Two Wrecks

Hi All,

Trying to get an aged photo look using duotone. I just can't get the look that old magazines used to get, more of a pen and ink sketch, none of the filter effects to do that look real to me. Any suggestions?

Roger, you are a Lightroom user I believe. There are some free Presets here by Bryan Wheeler, maybe there is something amongst them that will get near to what you are after

Thanks Stephen, I'll check them out. I must admit though that the new Bridge and CS4 are competing in my affections with LR.

I think you have a super image there! Were the old type images more yellow? Have you tried Optik verve, as there antique & aged as well as newspaper effects are great! With that you also have scope for manual manipulation of the effect & colouration!
