  • A Cold night in Oakham, Rutland.

I'm quite pleased with this shot, not least because I've been trying to get it for a few weeks. (weather conditions/people/parked vehicles kept getting in the way!) but I know you guys will be able to point to areas I could improve further. Thoughts?

    Regards,

    Neil.

This almost works for me - had it not been so bright (on my screen) on the RHS it would have been job well done.

A difficult task well executed I think. I'm pleased you got your shot in the end Neil.

      Thanks,

      I really appreciate the feedback.

So - Still more work to do on the exposure then - I'll try again next week!

Actually, I'm also going to try again to see if the "blob of light" above and to the right of the streetlight on the RHS is caused by the fact that I had left a uv filter on my lens. I'm wondering if there was some refraction/reflection which caused the "blob". Or is it caused by the lens itself?

      regards,

      neil

        Hi Neil
Good work - the little window seem to draw the attention away a little - just my view.
