I think this is an original image in it's simplicity and it works a treat and the positions of the men are great. A little rotation ccw might improve also but not essential. Looks like a half decent scaffold too unlike the terrifying bamboo stuff that is used in many parts of China and elsewhere.
A large print of this with lots of negative space would look exciting.

Sorry Mihir I forgot to mention the other ones. I like these type of pictures of old bulky stock and they can make fine images. But the first one is by far my favourite.

Hi Mate,

I love that first one, superb lighting and silhouetting. I think it could be enhanced somewhat with a tweak on the sky colours.

Also, I would definately encourage you to upload these to the gallery, so as the full size images can be seen without having to open a new browser.

Nice pix, Mihir - by the way, is the scaffolding there (presumably back in India once more?) made of bamboo? I remember seeing some awesome bamboo scaffolding on towerblocks in Hong Kong.

And as Ben says - you need to put these gems in your gallery

These are fantastic photos - there is another person on this board who photograhs the mundane and makes fascinating images out or her ordinary everyday environment and that's an approach to photography that I think is the most admirable as it calls on us to develop our observational skills and to look with "new eyes" at things - it also saves on the expense of having to travel of exotic locations

This is minimalistic and striking, nearly monotone A very good PJ type photograph, conveying the essence of a construction site. It give me the creeps, looking at those guys standing there, all part of their everyday work. The pinkinsh BG could maybe do with a little saturation IMO.
I never read critques by others before I look at a picture, because it gives you pre-conceived thoughts. I looks at them after my posts. Just something that helps me to stay objective in my subjectivity

As far as the sky is concerned I would go for pure white all the way. I think it would enhance what is already a great picture.

Yes - I am back in India, but these scaffolds a not bamboo, but normal cup lock metal ones.

Shall upload to a gallery once I am back in office to a stable editing environment!
