Love both the subjects and even though it is an Xmas setting I think its a bit cluttered.
Hope you don't mind but I just had to try it different.

I'm with Pops - I would have cropped significantly tighter than him to be honest.

The object on the top left is definitely intrusive at the very least - in my eyes, anyway.

Yes I agree and on some other shots I actually cropped out the mailbox as well.
