    I like this sort of picture and with your title it has a clear message.

    However I wonder if the message is lessened a little with the point of focus you have chosen. The emphasis is on the drinks esp Schhhh you know who My thinking is that had the emphasis been more on the leftover food, or the cake, and the drinks cans were in the background and out of focus, the message may have been less of an advert and more of a fun picture. Whaddaya think

      Thanks Stephen, I know what you mean.

      I was trying to make use of shallow DOF, so I needed a crisp area of detail where it was in focus.

      This was actually at a table at the end of a party on Saturday, not a set

        Ah so you were not asking for critique on the photo as a concept picture, rather a photo demonstrating the shallow depth of field and sharpness of the lens at a wide aperture.

        There is no denying the point of focus is very sharp and the depth of field very shallow. What more can I say

        Still like the concept of the photo though
