Missed Sunrise

Well the title says it all I guess Now I did not miss it because I was late oh no I was sitting there at about 5.30 am waiting and waiting. Did we get a nice sunrise. No real sign of the sun it just got blocked by the low cloud. Oh and sorry about the noise I have just found out the camera was set at iso 400. You would think that waiting for the sun to turn up that I would have checked that. So here is the sunrise without the sun so to speak.

Yes I remember you posting that one. I have heard it said we may see the sun on Thursday but I will not put money on it

Nice smooth sea there Peter, have you been playing wiuth your filters again?

Nice try while you are on hols getting up that early, the weather forecast said low cloud clearing through the day, The QE2 was in later this morning, took a couple of pics from castle cornet but the low mist was frustrating

Yes the filters came out the bag again. Thursday may be a better day.

Listened to the radio 4 weather and all could be well.

Took this when I was learning how to become more practised at taking pix in 2001. Still educating myself. Mind the difference now with my equipment is somewhat improved with the camera used here - Fuji 4700 and pp'd with primitive software.

Probably a cropping of half of the sky will bring up more of the man and dog and it will look like a panorma. Regards Horacio

Checked out the weather for this morning on the net the other day. It said fine with maybe a small bit of light cloud. So up just after 5 washed and dressed stepped out side the front door only to find that nasty misty type of rain. I just stood on the doorstep muttering a few choice words under my breath. Oh well always tomorrow.
