  • Sunset *yawn"

Even though I was working and behind schedule I couldn't resist this so I grabbed the camera and took a couple of quick shots.

I now wish I'd spent a bit more time and improved the framing but the light was changing fast and people were waiting excuses..excuses

    Stunning range of colour

I think you are being overly critical of your own picture stuart. I like the picture. The colours are stunning and the two trees on either side provide a very nice natural frame that leads the eye into the picture.

      Best Regards

The picture was taken in RAW mode, levels adjusted in CS2 and then Neat Image was used to get rid of some noise in the deep blue at the top of the picture (I lost some sharpness as a result) - no other colour change or trickery was involved, honest! It was the amazing colours that made me go and get my camera in the first place!

My eye hurts everytime I look at this image, must because my old age , nontheless, a great image, colours are just so vivid, not so long ago, we were not able to share like we have been, cheers to technology that brings us so much joy. Danny

              Hi Stuart
The small, black base and the side framing by the trees does it for me - the colours are very nice "n moody, if you open the shadows, you will loose some of that. Overall a very pleasing landscape.

Love the colors, very dramatic, yes the dark side, and bottom shrubbery do frame the image nicely. Not sure I could look at the image for long though, to over the top for my taste, but a lovely image just the same.
