  • Wild Flower

I think its time to take the plunge again and get a critique, I regularly see these wild hedgerow flowers and thought they would make an interesting subject although i am not sure of the name.

Any comments good or bad most welcome....JIM

Its called Bind Weed, and sadly, a right pain in the wotsit!
My garden is currently completely over run with it.

I would agree with Coupekid, it is a right pain in the.... the other thing that seems to grow alongside it is stinging nettles and it looks like you have them in the picture too. Apart from that, your flower pic looks ok just a shame the topic is on a nuisance weed

Looks okay to me Jim, a fraction soft, but a nice composition.

Don't like the Bindweed, but at least nettles have a purpose ..
.. some butterflies like to lay there eggs on the undersides
..... so go easy with the weedkiller

Perhaps if you cropped a bit off the right hand side and selectively applied a guassian blur to the background, the subject itself selected & sharpened-attention would be focused more on the Bind weed itself!
