  • Pretty in pink

    Been to the Zoo again , didn't walk about too much though, the sciatica was playing me up too much today (if you've never had sciatica take it from me - you don't want to!)

    Took these from a slightly different angle (above obviously!) but I'm not sure if the patterns in the water are too much of a distraction?

    the birds look great , but the water looks a bit strange, did you use "raw"

      Nice capture, especially the first portrait photo of the single bird with the wings open. I don't think that the water patterns are of a distraction but instead make a strong contradiction with the pink bird. Besides that we are used to bird photos captured in calm waters and your photo is something rare and different

        Hi Stuart,
        Lovely images, however, I do think the water is a little too distracting, I found I could not look at the image too long, perhaps a little post process blur would be a help.
