i really like the expressions of the couple in the front but i'm unsure if the two in the rear seat distract.

Yes they do a bit, but cropping them out unbalances the picture.
I have darkened down the two at the back (shame the girl is only showing half a face) also got rid of that white triangle of a sky (even more distracting in my view) and got rid of the flag on the windscreen. The stars and stripes are still in the picture with the other flag.
I think now there is only one place the viewer will look the couple in the front.

Great picture. I will elaborate.

I think the B&W works really well, there is so much to look at but I do not feel confused. I always end up with the driver. That is a fantastically infections expression to capture.

The picture is sharp and very pleasing to go back to a number of times. As regards the rear passengers. It is only the girl that is distracting. The expression on the boy adds to the composition imho.
