As you know I am a fan of selective colour and have applied the technique to this shot. I would welcome comments.

I was watching my wife in the London 10K and during the wait I spotted this couple in the rain.

Hi Josh -

I'm not expert enough to comment on your image but I like what I see. I too enjoy selective colour and will post a pic of my granddaughter here when you have received more responses to your question.

Very nice picture indeed. I don't like the bloke beside the phone box there, find him a bit distracting but I love the way you have isolated them and the way they are isolated on the path too, were they on the running route just before the runners came by!

Did you get pics of the wife running, would like to see one or two of them?

I love selective colour, and I didnt even see the person by the phone box until Ekkl pointed it out, my eyes are just drawn to the colourful part. The scene looks great too, probably something one would have just flicked through if it had either been all black and white or all colour.

Yes got a few pictures of runners will post later. Thanks for the comments. I agree about the bloke but he just wouldn't shift and I didn't want to the miss the hug.
