Casino in Mirror

Hi,

I was lucky enough to visit Monaco recently and there is a lot of modern art placed in parks. This one is a lens mirror reflecting the Monte Carlo Casino. The light was very bright and unfortunately I didn't have any filters but I would appreciate any comments.

Cant see your reflection in the mirror, you must have had a good zoom lens

Hello Julia,

I think it is a very interesting photograph showing the two shots of Monaco at the same time.

As you are focusing on the Globe, I feel that it should be emphasized a little more.

I have done a slight crop and lifted the shadows.

What do you think?

Hi Julia -

On my 60th birthday Anne treated the family and I to a few days' stay in Monte Carlo. Now this will interest Ian as we stayed at the hotel part owned by David Coulthard. On the evening of my birthday I went down from the bar to see if our car had arrived which was taking us out for a meal. Who should be waiting for his? DC and we had quite a chat.

I remember the Casino well as I didn't gamble one cent - not that I am mean but gambling gave me up many years ago.

As for your picture, I prefer the one that has been cropped - a well spotted opportunity.
