Hi. Any chance of seeing the colour version?

    Cheers.

      Re: love on the rocks

It's a 'Diamond' with a surface inclusion - so pour me a drink and I'll tell you some lies.

Serious and truthful mode -- I feel this one should have more immediate inpact than it does. The 'surface inculsion' (carving) of the rock just doesn't seem to 'sparkle' or grab and hold the attention as it might imho.

There's plenty texture in the rock and that's coming over ok but the main subject (the carving) doesn't seem to be prominent enough and that's a shame as you've got a great title for this one.

Perhaps it's because the background doesn't seem to do anything much to enhance or draw attention to the carving? Perhaps it might have been more striking from a different angle with mainly the rock in the frame? Maybe even a desaturated style of colour image or some use of colour to make the 'love on the rocks' shine out more?

I don't wanna sound negative because I think there's definitely some potential for a great shot of the carving. I just can't help feeling this particular shot doesn't do it the justice it deserves.

I'll crawl back under my own little stone now and listen to Neil.

I love B&W and this one tells a nice story about the people that were there.
