It was no different here either... driving rain and gale force gusts at times. But the old man drove up to Manchester to see the last day of the Test - apparently it was very sunny, but cold and windy.

Now then, back to the image.... I like this, it accurately depicts the weather this weekend in quite a dramatic fashion. Well composed, rule of thirds and all that (you can tell I'm doing this ruddy course, can't you!)

Glad you like it Caz, I never think about the thirds rule i just compose or crop to my eye or until i have the balance i want to see

I rather like this shot a lot,
its one I could see turned into an oil painting.
I would happily have it framed and on the wall. It has plenty of dramatics.

I like your shot here! Perhaps by contrasting the sky a little more, would produce a more ominous & mysterious feel to the photo!

Dave, I just checked to see what I did, I shot it 2 stops under then used Tonemapping software to tweak it
