Hi there,

I'm by no means an expert but love photography, especially landscapes. This is a lovely shot, very tranquil and the colours are gorgeous. The only thing that I would say on the negative is that there's too much sky but that's just my opinion.

Just like Gina said, there is too much sky while the sailboat is almost touching the bottom edge of the photo. Apart from that the rest of the photo is OK and it does reflect rality of color and time.

Thank you for input - The idea was the sky, I really ought to clone that boat out, and then maybe it will look more balanced.

Well to be honest I like the sky and would not agree there is too much. When I first looked at the pic I realised it was more about the sky than anything. Whilst in an ideal world the boat is a little near the bottom of the pic, I wouldn't delete it. At the end of the day its a personal image and strict rules of composition can be bent.

The attempt worked,
It is a wonderful warm and romantic image, love the colors, creates a sense of peace and calm. Leave the image as is, is my opinion.
