  • Northumbrian Bluebell Wood

It is that time of year again, the bluebell shots are appearing. Each year I try to capture what I really see - I think this comes close, helped by the fact that it was a very pleasant sunny day with just the merest breeze.

Ah! Now that is what I recall of such magnificent English wildflowers! Great shot Blithe! My favourite passtime when visiting my sister in Devon, is to walk in the woods next to the River Teign & see the Bluebells & daffodils! Such a pretty sight!

Thanks for looking and commenting Jocelyn. It is magic in the woods at this time of year, wonderful scents and sights.

Good capture - they're not easy, as I've discovered to my cost... though have done reasonably well this year.

Nice one Blythe. I still have to find my mass of bluebells.

            Hi Blythe

Good shot. I'm inspired to head off to look at my Bluebell location.

Again, thanks for looking. They seem to be vanishing ever so quickly this year .. and I don't think they have been showing 'en masse' as they have done other years, but that flash of blue through the trees is always uplifting.
