I think you made the right choice there Patrick. The first one has more action and drama and the fact you can see more of the person helps IMO. The second, whilst interesting lacks the same drama and man against nature feel. Good luck with your merit anyway

Thank You Jocelyn, it didn't do badly but not quite as well as hoped, I got a 3rd place with it in the set subject, I also got a 3rd place in the open section with another image.
The results gave me enough points to win the merit for the year, now I will have to find time to polish the cup for the next 12 months.

By the way, I liked both these images but didn't have time to comment yesterday. I can see why you included the first one for consideration, but found the second one intriguing... that shot makes you wonder what's going on!
