This little girl had travelled from the England to Hong Kong on her own and was waiting for Airport Assistance through immigration.

She looked so lonely as she clutched her toy.

I really like this - she certainly looks isolated against the plain backgound and the tight crop on the left emphasises her loneliness.

As a grab candid shot of a young girl ide say its ok.
Its only from your description that we no its in an airport.
Had you got some sort of airport theme in the backdrop to tell its own story then it could have been a great shot.

Thanks for the constructive critique.

I am posting my first shot, but it is not good enough of her face, but you can see it's an airport. Perhaps I might be able to add a bit from this shot to the first one. You can also see why it is such a tight crop behind her head.

You did the right thing by giving it a tight crop. I do like the matching colour of her bag but the background is just clutter to me.
Oh and I still wouldn't know that she was in an airport
