Re: Vineyard Patchwork
An interesting capture of lines and green hues. Must say that the shape and sharp lines of the buildings make them look like models. The balloon is super sharp with vibrant colour.
I assume you took this from a higher positioned balloon. Must have been a wonderful experience and hopefully you took more than one shot.-------------------------

Re: Vineyard Patchwork
This definitely has the 'wow' factor; the contrast between the green and orange is excellent and the small flashes of orange on the tiny buildings contrasts well with the balloon.carolannphotos.smugmug.com / webleedmusicmedia.com

What a shot. I love the position of the balloon with just a tad of space on the right hand size, the saturation, vibrancy and position with the patchwork background makes it a 10 out of 10 for me.

Very nice shot Jocelyn. The tidy geometry of the fields and the shapes on the baloon are great. Lovely contrasting coloyrs.
Personally I feel it is just a little tight on the right but I would also crop from the bottom just to remove those other small buildings as I feel they upset the rythem and tidyness slightly.

Yes, I think if it had been mine I would have taken those buildings out.

What a fantastic shot. Very difficult to take the house's out as not much room in that basket thats for sure.
I would make this a golden gallery entry.
Well done

Re: Vineyard Patchwork
Yes, I too like this one. Super vibrant balloon against the very neat corduroy-like fields. You've captured the balloon from a lovely angle, all those lines and a pleasing shape. Bet the owners of the balloon would be happy with a copy of that one, with their name full frontal.
Have to agree that I too would remove the small buildings(?) at the bottom, but the others are perfectly placed, and as someone else has said, that flash of orange reflected in the windows set things off nicely. What a wonderful experience that must have been, and to get a wonderful photograph too is just the icing.

Re: Vineyard Patchwork
Thank you all for your comments! I had thought about cropping those very bottom buildings out but thought it may upset the balance of the photo by too tight a crop! I will give it a bash! I was pleased with the shot! Pops I was in a higher balloon & 1 of at least 8 or 10 balloons! It must have been quite a sight for landlubbers to see so many riding the thermals! It almost inspires me to take up hang gliding
Some years ago I went paragliding in the Seychelles! Just imagine the photos one could take doing that.....especially at sunset!
