taken on the same occasion as 'in her face', i decided to leave the color as recorded. i like the warm tone and tilt of her head but am unsure of the hand. my wife likes it but i'm on the fence regarding distraction. your thoughts would be very much appreciated.
Hi Jon
Not been a particular good critic because I tend to overlook any bad points if the overall image is good and I would be loathe to lose this one, but I do think it would be better without the hand which does not seem to belong.
Regards Martin
Jon, I find this far more pleasing than your other version. For me the tones are better suited to this type of shot and although the hand dose distract a bit, I kind of like it included.
Personally I prefer it without the hand, I think the movement in it does not help, and it certainly doesn't seem to serve a purpose for me. As for the colour, no problem with that at all
I think I preferred the tones of the previous shot as it conveyed the atmosphere more with cooler colour! However, the eyes look even better in the 2nd shot! Still a great shot, but the hand does distract a bit!
Have to agree about the hand.
The face is really lovely with nice bright eyes and a slight hint of a smile.
It's been suggested that you could maybe clone over the hand using the fur of the hat and I think it is certainly worth a try
