Gorgeous shot! I love it! Those eyes are amazing - spell binding!

Was she pleased? I know I would've been.

I seems a bit cold -slight blue cast. Is that because it really was very cold, hence the warm clothing and headgear?

Beautiful shot, and you have a beautiful daughter as well!

I agree about it being cold, but in a way, with the attire being worn, I think it is in keeping with the shot.

thanks everyone for your kind comments.
the original image looked a bit warm so i cooled it down a bit in nikon capture...maybe too much, but i kinda liked the cast due to the nature of the shot. it was very cold over the weekend.
          thanks again.

I can't help but feel it's reminiscent of a production still of the younger Julie Christie (Lara) from "Dr.Zhivago".

Or maybe she would flatten me for saying that?

This is a very nice photograph, the cold feel to the image works well with the clothing, a lovely subject and lovely eyes.

They can do certain things, such as leave comments, but they can't start threads. They also have to go through the procedure of verifying their post 9with that small image gizmo). I don't think they can use the galleries either. they only have limited access to certain features - Ian can explain more fully - I forgot all the details.

BTW - regarding 'Zhivago'. I always tell my husband I only married him because he resembled the young Omar Sharif, specifically in his role as Dr Zhivago.

..... and why don't you use quotes so that we know who you're directing your sarcasm at?
