  • Colour or B&W

    Dear All,

My trip to London photos are almost ready. I will probably tell a story of my day in the general forum. However I thought I would post this one here. It is St Pauls as seen by reflection.

    Best Regards

    Josh

      Thanks.

I decided to destaurate the building so the focus would be the reflection.

Incredible shot and well spotted. That will teach everybody to look up from time to time.
Just that one bank of windows at bottom left stop it being perfect.

Yes I know. There is even someone sat at a desk in there. But I guess I had missed the perfect point by a few minutes.

Excellent shot josh. Well seen and captured. has a sort of mesmerising effect as your eyes subconsiously fleet between building and reflection!

I somehow managed to miss this when you first posted it - I'm very pleased it has resurfaced. It's a very effective contrast between the almost shaded facade of the building and the bright and saturated colours of the reflections in the windows - very nicely done!

I like the way you have processed this photograph to bring out the reflection - my brain is really tempted to think that it is behind a framework almost like the colosseum in Rome. The cold and hot colours play well in aiding this illusion.
