My first firework photo

No sure about this one and don't seem to be able to change it much in Photoshop. Please let me know what you think?

Julia, I'm far from an expert on this type of shot but I think I would have selected manual exposure. About f8 at 1/4 sec. This I feel would have been a better exposure for the firework, then by also having the flash set to fire on second curtain, the subjects movement would have been frozen and look sharper. I'm sure Stephen will comment on this if I am wrong.

I'm not to bothered about the person blurred because the sparkler catches the eye immediately. Would have been nice if the circle had been completed.

I think your suggestion is spot on Ron, maybe even longer than 1/4 sec

Julia, I love the clarity of the sparkles! I perhaps would've cropped the photo a bit tighter at the bottom!
