    Looks like (from the EXIF) it was taken with your 100-400mm pretty much wide open at the 100mm end? Still sorely tempted to buy that lens...

    Yes I lugged the camera with that lens on, as well as the monopod all the way on our walk. I can tell you it gets pretty heavy after a while . However its a great lens if you can get over the push/pull action of the zoom, and having to lock it off so it doesn't keep flopping down when over your shoulder. You soon realise that at 400mm f.8 gives no DOF at all

      Stephen and I have discussed the Golden Gallery acception criteria at length and although I haven't spoken to Stephen since his picture was shown here, I'm pleased that he has ruled it out as I didn't think it met the benchmark we had set. We really want the GG to be special!

      Anyway - Stephen has lots of better shots in my opinion.
