Hi Tony,

I hope you dont mind, but I have redirected your post to the 'Critique' forum where it should get a little more responses thatn in the 'General' one.

I have also added the picture so as people dont need to visit your pictures to view them. Hope your ok with this.

Personally, I love the picture, it has an almost glassy feel about it.

A lovely flower, made all the more interesting by the water droplets. I do feel though that its over-sharpened and or over compressed as there are halos and artifacts creeping in

I rather like it, the water droplets adds a touch of feel to it. think it would be bland with out.

Oh I dunno. You got off to a good start by working out how to use the galleries then also took the plunge to offer a picture for comment/critique. Good for you and a very warm welcome to the forums.

The easiest way to display one of your uploaded DPNow gallery pictures in a forum thread is as follows ......

1) Click on the "Open" link in the "My Pics" box (immediately beneath the smilies on the right) and a small new window will open displaying small thumbnails of all your gallery images.

2) Look along the top of that new window and you'll see two option windows with drop down menu choices.

3) Choose 'Original Image' and 'Inline' from the central and right side windows - then click on the thumbnail of whichever gallery image you want to include in the thread and your chosen image be inluded in your posting for you.

That's all there is to it. Hope I've explained it clearly.

Hi Tony,
A lovely image, The colors, the lighting and the close up view,the water droplets work together to make a successful image, it could almost pass as a glass flower that were very poular a few generations ago.
Oh and welcome to the forums.

The centre and the stamens look almost like they have been painted.
I like it and the water droplets make it more interesting that a usual 'in ya face' flower.
A bit more detail from the leaves would have been nice.
