This photo is extremely nice. Very nice capture of angle and moment.
Too bad, I cannot say the same for the colors before I see them

My personal opinion is that while it looks very nice in mono, usually sunsets are captured for their yellowredish or golden color. So I think that this picture, while it is all so nice as I mentioned, it loses somehow because it doesn't show completely the reason for what was captured for.

In other words, I would like the color version better than the mono version.

I think that is a very pleasing image. I was captivated by it as soon as I looked at it. Reminds me of the copper etchings type pictures. Would like to see it a touch more copper than gold.

I think you're right archangel , this was taken on a cold day on Deal beach and i was looking for a different kind of shot , the colour version is a bit bland so i thought i'd add a bit of drama by using the colour filter in Photoshop .
Thats why it's a gold as opposed to bronze Ron .
There are a few things both right and wrong with this photo , but colour is always a personall taste thing , all comments are very welcome .

It works for me Bigbob. Lovely soothing tranquil picture.
