I took this picture because it looked like a tree had been squashed against the wall. For some reason I found this really interesting.

nice!
i think i'd be tempted to clone out the street furniture though. i find it distracts from and unbalances what would otherwise be a well composed 2 colour image.

Me too. The sign adds a kind of 'defiance' to the determined 'tree'.

We have an ongoing battle fighting one of those 'trees' that's determined to grow up the front wall of our house. We keep slashing off its head and legs but it just keep on shoving its way back up from beneath the path.
