The clouds were looking angry and I could feel the first droplets of rain as I photographed a clutch of three of this year's new generation of swans on the grass bank by the canal about 100 yards from the DPNow offices.
There is more eye contact with the 2nd so I go for that one. Both super sharp and both from a nice level viewpoint. I don't like the split background very much but looks like you had no option.

Really great shots Ian! One can almost feel the downy soft feathers in one's imagination! The catchlight caught well. I'd love to see the same pic in its original size as I think it would be quite amazing!
