As you have asked for critique on this image could you please post a larger version. Images at this size always look good so it is hard to pass comment.
Are you saying he looks angry, or that he is angry
If its looks, then I must say I don't see it. His expression is not especially one of anger in my opinion.
However if you are saying that he is an angry man, this suggests some form of message you are trying to indicate, and I'm afraid thats lost on me and I can't agree or disagree
Angry? I feel that you were there at the time and must know, hence the portrait, so we must take your word for it, that is unless it is just your impression of the mans expression, was he ina discussion with someone else? However it is a good portrait non the less super capture of the expressive eyes and mouth. IMO.
