  • Closeup of a fly

    Here's another macro shot. Shot with an Olympus E-510 and Sigma 105mm macro-lens. It's cropped at 75%. I didn't have time to adjust the aperture so I ended up using f/13 which is less than I would have preferred. The fly was not inclined to pose for more than one shot though..

    The detail in the rather narrow focussed range is really good.

          well, I did not mean to imply that I'm unhappy about it.. It's certainly one of my better pictures of late.

          I was only lamenting over my own clumsiness for not setting the correct aperture before I started shooting, heh... oh well, you can't get it perfect every time (well, not me anyway)
