I was trying to lead the viewers eye into the photo from the bottom right by means of the stream and then down the valley:



Nikon D200, 18-200mm VR lens with UV filter; handheld

Exposure Time = 1/200"
ISO = 100
Focal Length = 18mm
F Number = F7.1
Colour Mode = MODE1

Adjustments in Photoshop: 1, Auto Levels 2, Sharp Smart; 0.5 at 75% Remove lens blur

The little car park spoils the view - I'd crop out the left quarter. Another possibility is to crop out everything level with the car park and below. That would lose the stream and the bridge, but then it would be a very different picture.

I can see what Brian was doing but agree the car park etc does spoil the scene. The original version posted earlier solves the problem and IMO makes for a much more pleasing image.

The eye is drawn to the bridge which is a distraction from the image you are trying to create if you crop and loose bridge the desired effect of leading the eye down the valley is much better

Yes, this shot has loads of potential, but only if something is sacrificed.
