a good shot of a viaduct but there are to many distraction above the line of the viaduct . loosing the some of the sky makes the structure very impressive

A very interesting photograph Mike. Do tell me where it is. Is this a single shot or a pano? Ether way it's very well presented. Guess that scene changes quite a bit when the tide comes in.

That's a gorgeous shot Mike, but I agree with Ronnie that you could lose some of the sky without losing any impact from the shot.

There are one or two round here - I've just uploaded one I took in May into my album, but I couldn't get far enough away to get the whole view. Just parked at the bottom and shot along!

I asked the old man (who's from North Devon, but was based at Plymouth part of the time he was in the Navy) if he knew where this was, but he wasn't sure.

Hi Caz, the Viaduct is over the river Lyhner, taken through the trees on the road to the torpoint ferry, so Im sure the Old Man will know the area.
This image is a tight crop, I cropped it in a landscape/pano style to enhance the viaducts legnth
