Hi Mike,
I prefer the first image but this to does show the drama and mood and indeed the beauty of the area, this image however I feel could do with a little bit of tweeking to give it a little more zip as on my monitor it appears a little flat.

I like it.
The bush on the left has allowed you to get away with showing so much water in the foreground but....IMO ... you don't ned the tree branches at the top and in particular that tiny piece protruding from just below the top left.

I was considering a tighter crop Pops but the bus would have appeared to just pop in the side and I thought the bank gave it the depth, also it might have looked like I was walking on water Only my son believes that
It was an error on my part not to clone out the branch tip on the left......good points though
