    Hello everyone,

I would like you thoughts on these I took this evening (since it wasn't raining as forecast)

    Regards

Some real nice sky shots there.
I know they are a pain to get rid of but those overhead cables spoil the shots for me.

Pops has said it all. I find the cables distracting too.

Really like the last photo - the colours are superb.

I like the last pic too. Interesting effect on other pics...the light almost like a searchlight effect the beam is so evident! The overhead cables are always a menace in suburbia & a pain to clone out!

          Re: Sunsets

Nice sunsets no doubt but nice is not good enough when it comes to sunsets; they are all nice.
For me anyway for a sunset to work there needs to be interesting added interest and that something different and original that ensures they stand apart from the thousands of beautiful, but uninteresting ones we see all the time.

Agh...thumbnails! hate em, I find it much easier to just post the UBB code straight in so the watcher doesnt have to keep opening new windows to view the shots.

I am going to be brutally honest here, so I hope I dont cause offence.

The first four are just snaps in my opinion, however, the last one has the potential of being a real beauty!

I reckon if you were to clone out the cables and maybe even the left hand lamp it would be stunning, I love the lense flare, and the colours and silhouettes are stunning.

Thank you for you comments. The problem is where the sun goes down as you can see is the overhead cable and the houses(lol) I but can't do much about them other ethan erase them. Here is the revised picture with the cables removed

Very nice work on the cloning, really improves the image.
My only suggestion would be along the lines of what Coupekid said and crop the left hand lamp, and maybe turn this into a portrait shot?
