  • Grey sparrows

    Here's a couple of cute grey sparrows i shot with my Olympus E-510 + Sigma 135-400mm lens at 300mm from a distance of 3-4 meters away. I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

    Looks good - I think that's a youngster with, maybe, a parent in the background?

    How are you getting on with the E-510's image stabilisation system?

      I love it! I sold my E-400 just to get my hands on the stabilized sensor of the E-510. I use a monopod with my 135-400mm lens but the stabilization actually does an excellent job with that setup since it's not so easy to hold the camera completely still even with a monopod. It's possible to take good pictures even at lower shutter-speeds like 1/30s without any hint of bluriness!
