Poppy field

Another one I took a couple of weeks ago - on the way back from garden centre shopping... Saw the first field of poppies of the season, and my partner commented that it was a shame he hadn't got his camera - but I had!

You can't see them, but there were quite a few stinging nettles at the front of the field... (ouch)

Nice one Caz, I like the way you have got down in amongst them for a lower angle. Looks like they are in a field of oil seed rape.

It's a nicely composed shot, one that could be ideal for a pack of notelets from Photobox too.

Hi Caz,

I think Stephen and Pol have just about said it all. A very nice capture. (It seems to have been an exceptional year for poppies around here, just not had time to get out with the camera ).
