I'm new into this website & forum and I wanted to participate also in "Photo Critique", as I already entered in the photo competition section, starting with this panoramic "late evening" shot.
That's a very nice Panorama. Perhaps you could tell us a bit more about it. How many shots have been stitched and what software did you use? And any other info about camera and exposure etc.
A lovely panoramic shot, I really like this, smashing sky, and I cant see any joins.
Nice!
Thanks for the greeting coupekid.
This is the place where my country house is located and where I spend most of my vacation, using my speedboat for going fishing and swimming.
Indeed there are not visible joins even at the full size shot and the entire panorama has been stiched unexpectadly perfectly.

Hi lumix,
There have been 5 shots stiched. The shots were handheld and taken with my complementary point & shoot small Nikon Coolpix 7900.
The EXIF info have as follows:
Shutter: 2 sec
F-Stop 2.8
ISO Speed: 200
I tried many different stiching software and end up to use some of them like: The Panorama Factory, ivista Panorama, PhotoVista and Panorama Studio.
This specific panorama has been done with "The Panorama Factory" in the "Semi-manual mode"
I forgot to mention something that will make you wonder how it is possible a 2 second shutter can produce such a clear picture handheld.
I was holding the camera on top of a bench, that you can notice it on the left and right side of the panorama. I didn't use a tripod, just holding the camera as steady as I could against the bench.
Glad you cleared that one up. Was going to ask you what tablets you are on. Thanks for sharing the info on your picture. I'm currently in panorama mode too. So nice to see how others are producing there images.

OK Archangel, now that you have made me extremely jealous.........when are we going to see piccies of the speedboat!
There are plenty of stitch-fans here at DPNow - can you tell us which software package you use? (Ah! I jumped the gun and see you mentioned Panorama Factory in a later post )

Cool stuff! I bet you have hours of fun with that fella!
Oh, yes I do. Actually I'm leaving in a while for my country house for the weekend to go for some fishing. Some last minute jobs kept me here untill Saturday morning, otherwise I would have gone from last night.

Hi Archangel,
A wonderful well executed panorama, an image you could put on a wall and admire.
