Comments welcome, a couple from the garden, one using extension tubes....one with just the kit lense......





I am not too sure of the second one, but happy with the first (despite the wing clip)

Yep, I agree entirely - the first would have been almost perfect if the wing wasn't clipped.

The second one is a touch out of focus. The first would have been even better without the wing clip but I'd be pleased with it.

I've been thinking about getting some extension tubes but they ain't exactly cheap are they?

The first one is beautifully sharp. I find myself wishing the second was just as sharp, as I like the composition and the colour shines out. The hover fly looks good against the blue.

Extension tubes are relatively inexpensive.

I use some jessops ones, they were around 70quid for the set of three.

The dont allow autofocus, but its a small price to pay.

What exactly are extension tubes...other than the obvious Ben...how do they work?
