I wouldn't disagree with you Mike, but there are surely many more just as good I have a recollection of being frustrated by Loch Leven whilst travelling up the west coast because you had to drive all the way round via Kinlochleven in order to progress North or South

With regard the photos, my feeling is its about 2/3 of a stop underexposed, certainly a slight tweak in levels remedied the situation. I wonder also if the bottom 1/4 does a lot for the photo, I could quite happily loose it esp the bank in the bottom right. But this is just my personal opinion.

Hi Mike,
A peaceful calming scene, and has every right to be your favorit, a lovely mellow mood, which portrays the isolation and beauty of the landscape, the viewers eye is drawn through the image, soaking up the atmosphere, peace and beauty of the place as you go. initially I felt that the land in the bottom right corner could be cropped out, however, I feel it is unwise to remove any of the space at the bottom to eliminate the land , it would be better to clone out the land and keep the space to maintain the image composition and ballance. I would be very tempted to leave well alone though, or make two versions.
